New Coordinators
Mentoring Coordinator: Lynn Preston
Stephen Adler is a Focusing practitioner and Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapist. He is a founder of Implicit Relational Therapy and operates a private practice specializing in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, art therapy and sensori-motor therapy, among other fields. He is a visiting professor at UNIFESP Sao Paulo Brazil and a board-certified expert in post-traumatic stress.
Mentoring Coordinator: Lynn Preston
Isabel Adon is an Afro-Latinx born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, New York. She has been a meditator for over 20 years, practicing in the tradition of Vipassana and leading meditation sits at New York Insights. Isabel is an instructor on Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Therapy (IFOT) and Indigenous Tools for Living (ITFL). She is a certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist and a member of the leadership committee on FORCE (Focusing Oriented Relational Community Empowerment), a program that works to bring the Focusing philosophy free of charge to those who may not have access. As a psychotherapist, she also works with individuals through her private practice.
Mentoring Coordinator: Beth Mahler
Maria Skoufas has been a Focuser for 20 years, and a Certified Focusing Professional since 2017. She is currently teaching a two-year Focusing Certification Program in collaboration with Beth Mahler. The goal of the program is to deepen one’s own Focusing experience and to prepare and inspire the participants to bring Focusing into their communities. It is her belief that Focusing brings awareness to living life creatively, and that the practice facilitates accessing the genius that lies within all of us.

Christine le Coutre is a psychologist, person-centered counselor, therapist and supervisor. She has been working for 26 years with the person-centered and experiential approach in various professional fields. She is co-founder of the Institute for Person-Centered and Experiential Offerings - IPEA and member of the editorial team of PERSON - International Journal for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counseling. Christine is particularly interested in Focusing in the context of psycho-social professionalization and the application of Focusing in counseling practice and in leadership.

Mentoring Coordinator: Lore Korbei
Georgeta Niculescu has been practicing person-centered psychotherapy for over 20 years. She is a founding member and current president of the Romanian Association of PCP, and is vice president of the Romanian Federation of Psychotherapy. Her interests range from philosophy and the intricacies of human existence to photography, film and literature. She places trust in the process of life flow, and names love, work and respect as just a few of her core values.

Mentoring Coordinator: Lore Korbei
Florentina Palada, PhD, is a clinical psychologist, trainer, supervisor and psychotherapist in person-centered psychotherapy. A founding member of the Romanian Association of Person-Centered Psychotherapy, she is also a member of PCE-Europe and WAPCEPC. She has worked in the field of psychotherapy for more than 20 years, and has been very involved in creating a community for both person-centered psychotherapy and Focusing in Romania. She says, "Every human meeting is an inspiring one and Focusing brings so much richness, freshness and creativity in the way life could be lived."

Kie Yano is a psychotherapist and teaches psychology to students at a college. She was interested in “presence” at the beginning of her research. She currently researches on the interaction of felt sense and symbols based on Gendlin's philosophy. She is also interested in art, especially the novelty that arises from the felt sense and photography of their own collage and Asking from the listener. Her Collage Work is done in groups or pairs, and through these works she published the book Focusing and Collage in 2021. She also works on Focusing with children. She translated with her colleagues Focusing with Children by Malta in 2010. Currently she conducts workshops and develops works on Children and Focusing with her peers.
