PART 2 is about deepening into the Focusing and Listening process by looking more at the role of the Companion. A companion to ourselves as well as others. I introduce neuroscience here. We develop further our personal concept of creating an inner space that welcomes it all and adapting that space as we follow our process. Requires some previous partnership experience.

There is a lot of upheaval and uncertainty within many countries. The geopolitical situation is more unstable than it has been in a long time. And, globally, the threat of the climate catastrophe looms large. We cannot help but be affected by all of this.
How do we regain a sense of agency when so much of what is happening is beyond our control?
In this group, we are going to explore together how these situations manifest bodily in our emerging self. We are going to do this within a mindful and proactive perspective.
Annual meeting of Focusers, open space organization, anyone present can offer Focusing based workshop, discussion, or presentation. Our purpose is cooperatively building supportive community amongst Focusers.

Whether you recently completed the foundational Focusing Course and started the FOT journey, or you want to keep refining or refreshing your skills, I want to support you every step of the way. These workshops are for all of you who want to apply the Focusing process or practice FOT in your therapeutic practice. Each workshop will have different experiential practices focused on understanding the client’s process (formulation) and improving the skills.
In this workshop, we will closely examine Gendlin’s philosophical focus on "transitions." We will experiment with different types of transitions to observe how meaning shifts based on how we connect words and what we do "between" them. We will enact simple exercises with words, and will jointly witness the journeys of insights that arise, even if those words initially seem insignificant or are chosen at random. And we will read passages from Gendlin’s philosophical work to help us understand what is happening.
This workshop is intended for those already familiar with Focusing though all are welcome to attend.

In his book “A Process Model”, Gendlin develops a powerful model for describing and explaining the living process. In this webinar, Orit aims to demonstrate how some of the model’s concepts provide an enlightening perspective on life processes, specifically on learning processes.
All are welcome to attend and participate, with or without prior knowledge of Gendlin’s Philosophy. No affiliation with Education or learning is needed.
