The FORCE team is gearing up for our third ONLINE COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT TRAINING PROJECT starting Oct. 6th. This innovative learning experience is a response to the current urgent need for real conversation across differences. It offers a way to explore the question: Can the ideas and skills of Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing help us as individuals and communities to heal our polarizations and disconnections? Can Focusing be the yeast that enables the bread of genuine relating to rise? This project is a passionate call designed to cultivate visionary leadership in facilitating community creativity, cohesion and resilience.

The training is a “pay it forward” project based on the conviction that participants will bring their increased awareness and skills to community life.

There are many varieties of traditional prayer. The act of pray-ing expands the meaning of being human, of being fully human.

In this workshop we will explore and develop a new kind of prayer consciousness:  a lucid prayer movement that transforms our life experience - free of theological underpinnings.

Attending the workshop live is encouraged as there will be exercises in breakout rooms, though all registrants will receive a link to the recording afterwards.

Changing the Unchangeable (aka Macroshifting) invites one to engage with something one has tried to change (e.g. a persistent relationship or career problem) but has failed at changing. If, given one’s other accomplishments, it is unclear why someone has failed, it is probably a macro. According to Robert, macros are what change with difficulty. Macros also go further into who one is, and further out into society. . .
