Sydney Focusing Changes Group on Zoom, Saturday 7 June 2025, 9:00am - 11:00am AEST

The primary purpose of our Changes Group is to spend time together Focusing in partnership. But we also spend some of our time on Focusing-related topics, such as our recent walk through Gendlin’s Focusing, chapter by chapter.

This month we would like to make space to have a conversation about forming an Australian/NewZealand/South East Asian Focusing association/organisation. It would be a short 15 minute discussion at the beginning of our meeting, facilitated by Greg Walkerden in a felt-sensing, inclusive, exploratory way.

 Some of us have talked about the possibility of such an association for a long time, and some of us have tried to develop some concrete steps to create some kind of Focusing organisation to build our community locally. And now others are joining us, and we are, together, aiming to cast the net wide so that every Focuser in our region can know of the plan, and get involved, in whatever way they can.

 We plan to hold a few meetings at varied times and days, to allow for more in-depth discussion of the proposed organisation, and the best way ahead. We will have another 15 minute discussion in our July changes meeting.

 We look forward to your input, no matter where you live, as building Focusing community and awareness is something most of us value very highly.
