Join us for a heartfelt and inspiring meeting where Claire will share her vision and journey of creating a safe, nurturing community for children with special needs and those who have experienced childhood trauma.

This international training program for Focusing-oriented group work came into being as an answer to the needs of many of us at a time when Focusing-oriented connectedness, collaboration and genuine relating are more urgent than ever; a time when cross-cultural, cross-generational and multigeographical gathering is technologically supported as never before. Although Focusing has deeply influenced individual therapy and inner work, its potential contributions to group life remain underexplored.
“Here is a new message... there is a different way forward, a further stage – relating – which we all really want…. it is part of the further development of the human being.”
-Eugene Gendlin from his unpublished manuscript, “Fitting In, Pouring Out and Relating”

In this group reading of Gendlin’s ground-breaking dreams book, we will study, experience and discuss his Focusing-oriented approach to dreams. We will also look at how embodied dreamwork has evolved in the four decades since the book was published.

Healing doesn’t have to take a big intervention. Sometimes, it just takes a shift in how you relate to yourself.
The missing piece isn’t about fixing, analyzing or denying what you feel. It’s about meeting your emotions with presence and compassion.
This free video + live webinar series introduces a radically gentle method for emotional healing. One that helps you move beyond self-judgment, out of stuckness, and into something more real: a grounded, trusting relationship with yourself. We hope you'll join us.
This series encourages us to live Gendlin's concept of "crossing" in a supportive community setting. This community is for those who often find themselves in situations of facilitating change for others, individuals and groups. It’s a great option for those who are looking for a community-based path toward certification, for those who do not need certification, and for those already certified.
This Learning Community is a 10-month program, meeting twenty times every other week for 1.5 hours. This course/community is a lovely, supportive space to continue learning with other advanced Focusers or to pursue certification at your own pace as a Focusing Facilitator or Trainer with TIFI.
Meets every other Sunday, 2:30 - 4pm ET, New York time
Looking for community support as you explore and grow your own unique way of bringing Focusing into the world? This space is open to new people in a final stage of certification, already certified or already actively bringing Focusing into the world.
Our goal is for this to be a touchstone community for your journey toward holding space for change whether you are here as part of your certification path with TIFI or crossing these skills with something else you are already doing like coaching, therapy, body or energy work, etc.
We meet twice a month, first Sunday mornings 11am - 12:30pm ET and third Wednesday evenings 7:30-9pm ET New York time. We record most meetings. Come when you can and stay connected with recordings.
This course will teach participants the basics of Focusing.
It will be held on 4 friday/saturday sessions in the area of Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
The course-language will be german, if there is a need for an english-spoken class, pls reach out. There will be a certification at the end.
In 2023, we began a tradition of having an annual online "Honoring Milestones" ceremony. The ceremony begins by acknowledging all those newly certified by TIFI and those who have become Coordinators (all these are also acknowledged monthly in our InFocus News Feed, and on our Milestones page on focusing.org). Toward the end of the Honoring Milestones ceremony, we take time to remember Coordinators who have recently passed. All members of The International Focusing Institute are warmly welcome to attend this online ceremony.

The Daylong Celebrating Certification is a new event for certified members of The International Focusing Institute. This event is a way for all those who are certified by TIFI and are current members. There is no cost the first time you attend; it is paid for by your certification fee.
This is a chance for all those with certification to have a day-long experience together, led by the team leading the Weeklong for Advanced Focusers. This event is connected to the Weeklong because it is led by the teachers of the Weeklong. However, it is for everyone who is a certified member, and not only for those who intend to attend the Weeklong.
This is intended as a live event. Although everything will be recorded, please make every effort to attend as many of the

1.5-hour informal meeting to introduce my 20-week Nervous System Reset Online Course
After accidents, certain neurological illnesses, or emotionally challenging incidences, the autonomic nervous system can get stuck in repetitive patterns, overreacting to specific cues. This challenges our health, well-being, sense of safety and connection, and our creative potential. We can gradually...

Like being in contact with a yet undiscovered treasure box. With FOCUSING, a practice laid out by philosopher and psychotherapist Eugene T. Gendlin, you will get in touch with your Felt Sense and be able to develop surprisingly fresh understandings that make a difference, especially in how you are with your special project or issue. By adding certain moves of THINKING AT THE EDGE (TAE), another practice Gendlin created, with Mary Hendricks and Kye Nelson, we will show you how you can speak more and more precisely from your Felt Sense. In doing so, you will discover important details by redefining

Gendlin valued Clearing a Space very highly. How about you? Is Clearing a Space (CAS) a standard part of your own Focusing practice, or your teaching of Focusing? Or have you replaced it with something else – maybe an attunement? Join us to share what place CAS has in your Focusing practice – is it essential, optional, irrelevant or something else?
