Robert has taught Cross-lingual Focusing at numerous international gatherings like The Weeklong and International Conferences over the years. In this Focusing Highlight, we are thrilled that he will give a presentation about what Cross-lingual Focusing is, and he will also facilitate a demonstration between two people who don't know each others' languages, giving participants a thorough introduction to it.
Some experience with Focusing will be helpful, though all are welcome.

In this 8-week group, you will use Focusing to transform a significant issue in your life, in part by deepening your access to Self through the 8Cs of Self-Leadership. The 8Cs are calmness, connectedness, curiosity, clarity, compassion, confidence, courage and creativity.
By crossing the felt sense of these qualities with our issue, we move through it by pausing, understanding the issue, transforming it, and then preparing for action, and finally taking action.
Your issue can be working towards a personal or professional goal. However, the course is designed in such a way that you can also bring a different topic each week to your Focusing, and concentrate on building your 8Cs which help you live as your Self more often.

Gendlin valued Clearing a Space very highly. How about you? Is Clearing a Space (CAS) a standard part of your own Focusing practice, or your teaching of Focusing? Or have you replaced it with something else – maybe an attunement? Join us to share what place CAS has in your Focusing practice – is it essential, optional, irrelevant or something else?

Most of us know that being able to listen in a Focusing way usually requires lots of practice and reflection. Yet, when we speak with others, we often find we have nothing but our habits to guide us. We can’t expect ourselves to automatically be skilled at speaking up, speaking out, speaking to and from our felt sense. Especially when we speak in larger groups, our Focusing skills can disappear! We need a place to practice speaking and some guidance to find a new way.
These Being Focusing Together gatherings will use Gendlin’s little known unpublished manuscript "Fitting In and Pouring Out, and Relating" to help us do just that. We will use our time together to experiment with new patterns and see if we find fresh ways to be Focusing in our group interactions.

In this 90-minute workshop, we explore the shared space of Polyvagal Mindfulness as an experience that is co-created. This is not a presentation about applying Polyvagal Theory to group process. It is a mindful shared exploration of tracking our own nervous systems in the group space with particular attention to our bodily-felt experience, in addition to how our awareness of our presence, intention, and delight deepen and shape the group experience.
Reconocer y expresar adecuadamente las emociones contribuye a una mejor salud integral. Esta es una oportunidad para dejar fluir emociones "atoradas" que lastiman tu salud.
