Please nominate your students, so that they can attend the Weeklong
The Janet Klein Scholarship Fund offers support to several participants each year to attend the Weeklong for Advanced Focusers. Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Janet Klein's family and other donors, scholarship recipients are able to attend the Weeklong, and then share the growth they experience with others. This contributes to the carrying forward of Focusing and our global community.
WHOM YOU SHOULD NOMINATE:
Do you have students, or know Focusers (young or old) who are being certified this year, or who have recently been certified, who could not afford to attend the Weeklong without this scholarship? Please encourage them to apply and let them know that you’ll write a letter of nomination to support them.

The size of an individual’s scholarship will depend on economic need and available funds. They may request up to full tuition (whether online or in person) and full room and board (if they wish to attend in person). Please note that travel expenses are not covered by the scholarship.
WHY YOUR STUDENTS SHOULD ATTEND THE WEEKLONG:
Attending the Weeklong helps advanced Focusers to renew and/or deepen their Focusing process. Being part of an international group with other advanced Focusers tends to open new, surprising insights. We find that many advanced Focusers return each year. They benefit from the invigorating experience of being with other advanced practitioners and learning about new models and methods of practicing Focusing.
Please note that as a Coordinator (or Coordinator-in-Training), you are automatically given a 50% discount off the price of tuition. We hope you’ll consider attending alongside your students!
HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE
It's very easy: just ask your student to write an application (here are the forms in English or Spanish), and let them know that you’ll write a nomination letter about them to send to us. In your letter, please describe the qualities that make this person appropriate for this scholarship. The length of the letter should only be 250-500 words; the important thing is that you let us know how this person contributes (or can contribute) to the spread of Focusing in the world. Both your letter and your student’s application should be sent by e-mail to [email protected].

We are extremely grateful to Janet Klein's family for creating a Focusing Weeklong Scholarship Program in Janet's memory. Many times Janet paid for people to attend a Weeklong that she was teaching, especially those from developing countries.
The deadline is May 31, 2024. At that time, we must have both your letter of nomination and the application letter from your student. (Please ask your student to read the "Invitation to Apply" and see the Weeklong 2024 event listing for more details.)
