Focusing Roundtables Serge Prengel Susan Rudnick
Note two sections: Sept 9 and Sept 17. Register for only one section please. Many of us work with, inhabit or experiment with practices that foster mindfulness. The Roundtable is an opportunity for all of us to come together and compare our experiences. We want to be become more aware and conscious of how these practices can work together, or understand what happens inside us when we are drawing on one or another to both.

Not feeling good about yourself can be like living under a dark cloud that casts a gloomy shadow on whatever you say, do, think, feel… And that makes life harder than it has to be.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can learn how to handle emotional triggers, difficult habits, and inner critics in a way that leaves you feeling better about yourself. Let me help you get started (and share what you can do to keep going!).

What does it mean to GUIDE someone else in ways that bring life forward movement? This one-year course is for those wanting to dive deep into the intricacies of one-to-one relationships. This community is for those who often find themselves in situations of facilitating change for others. It’s a great option for those who do not need certification, and also works well if you are already certified or possibly alongside another certification program.

This learning community begins as a year-long program meeting fifteen times for 1.5 hours and continues with regular one-hour meetings as long as you wish to join us. This course does NOT provide certification as a Focusing Guide.

Fall 2021 will meet on Thursdays, 7:30-9pm ET, New York time, beginning Sept 2.

Cafecitos logo Ciriaco Uriarte Florentina Sassoli

In this Oceania Roundtable, the question we will explore is "Can Focusing transform how we handle hot potatoes?" We will organize our exploration into two stages, first working in small groups to bring awareness to our own personal patterns of handling hot potatoes and then experimenting by choosing a hot potato to discuss together.
