Weeklong 2024 - Dining Information at Mercy by the Sea

Mercy by the Sea - Dining Information

Mercy by the Sea dining room

What Mercy by the Sea says about dining:

Mercy by the Sea Retreat and Conference Center believes in serving food that feeds the soul.  We make every effort to ensure that all who dine with us experience the best in Mercy hospitality. We prepare simple healthy meals using local and organic produce as much as possible.

We serve both hot and Continental breakfasts, and our lunches always include a salad bar consisting of seasonal greens, nuts, seeds, veggies and a choice of dressings.  There are also various combinations of soups, sandwiches and lunch-time entrees with cookies and fruit as dessert options.

Dinners feature a protein, starch, vegetable, tossed salad, bread and delectable desserts.

In keeping with Mercy by the Sea’s hospitality, there is a beverage station open 24/7 in the Catherine McAuley Dining Room offering coffee, hot and iced tea, orange juice, cranberry juice and water.

We can provide vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options at meals with notification prior to arrival. The Center does not have the ability to provide for medically necessary diets, such as allergy-free diets; personal preferences; or diets designed for individual weight loss. Those allergic to nuts, gluten or other foods, especially those with severe allergies or with specific dietary restrictions, are advised to disclose all food allergies and restrictions prior to arrival. Persons with severe allergies are invited to bring prepared foods, if deemed necessary.

NOTE: Your in-person registration for the Weeklong will include a place to let us know about special dietary needs. We (TIFI) will pass that information along to our retreat managers.
