My early interest in physical performance led me through a national academy in my home country of Australia onwards to an extensive international performing, teaching, directing and choreographic career hence my interest in the deep wisdom of the body and it’s centrality in the process of change. Alongside being a Certified Focusing Professional I’m an International Coach Federation credentialed PCC with almost 2 decades of client facing experience and over a decade of experience creating and leading internationally regarded professional coach training programs both in Europe and the USA. I’ve trained close to 2000 industry professionals over that time. I‘ve created and lead the ICF-Accredited Emergent Coach Training program (www.interactualizer.com) which integrates Focusing into the program as a core element of coaching practice. My meditation practice began almost 40 years ago, I’m a qualified MBSR teacher through UMass, a dharma leader with Chattanooga Insight and I’ve designed and lead mindfulness programs for professionals at InterActualizer and other leading coach trainings. I am a partner of a leadership consultancy (Howorth Francis Associates) introducing Focusing principles into leadership and organizational development. I also produce and host a monthly show on NPR in the USA called The Story of Change exploring the human relationship to change.
