Born in Israel in 1968, family circumstances have taken me, already as a young child, to different countries, places and cultures. I went to kindergarten in Holland, returned to Israel for elementary school, and spent my high school years in England. This has impacted my life in a very deep manner, making me very curious and involved in matters concerning human culture and development. I studied Waldorf education in England and became one of the founders of the first Israeli Waldorf high school. I have been working with teenagers in this institution for the past 30 year. I also studied Education and literature and have a Masters degree in Multidisciplinary pedagogy in the humanities.
Therapeutic work, as such, entered my life at a later stage when I trained in Breathwork therapy, which is also where I met Focusing for the first time, I trained also in Mindfulness work with children and adolescents, and have since developed a program to work with teenagers in our Waldorf high school which has created for me a most special connection between the two fields of my professional life.
I am also a writer and am now in the process of publishing my third novel. Music has also played an important role in my life and I have been a member of the Udiana Choir for the 20 years of its existence.
In the last few years focusing has become more and more dominant in my work with my clients, who I meet in my clinic and also via zoom. It is for me much more than a technique; it is a language and has become a way of life. I am a certified focusing professional and immensely thankful for this gift. I am currently living in the North of Israel but also spend substantial times in Bulgaria where I have a house and in Germany where two of my grandchildren live. I am married to Ori, mother to Shachar, Gaia, Nadav and Ella and grandmother to David, Maya and Lavie.
