Focusing oriented therapy is a gentle, safe and effective way to create a shift, bring in some fresh air and to become unstuck from whatever is feeling difficult or overwhelming in your life.
I work with people who are experiencing anxiety and depression, grief and loss, addictions, uncertainty around life decisions and transitions, relationship issues and recovery from trauma as a child or adult. I have additional training in internal family systems therapy and AEDP, both of which work extremely well as focusing crossings. I also have training in relational life therapy for couples. I work online only at this time.
I find that focusing is often the missing piece for people who have been trying hard to bring change or resolve issues for themselves in other ways. The body and the felt sense have a way of bringing us exactly what we need and what is alive for us in the moment, which is often surprising or unexpected for our thinking minds. This process of discovery and transformation create change on a deep and lasting level.
