Mohamed Altawil spent his childhood in a Gaza refugee camp, and as an adult, became an expert in trauma therapy through 20+ years of experience in research and practice. First working in Gaza, then going on to be the founder of Palestine Trauma Centre in 2007. Mohamed is the first Focusing Trainer and Coordinator in Palestine and the Arab World. He was awarded his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire (UK) in September 2008 with support from the Ford Foundation.
