Find a Focusing Professional - Heather Rogers

Biography

I am a registered Counsellor with NZAC (New Zealand Association of Counselling) working in Private Practice as a FOT and FOAT and IDT , Art Therapy in Palmerston North New Zealand from 1996- 2022. Presently I am a member of the Focusing Institute as a Coordinator and The Focusing Institute Membership Committee. My Focusing training with Nada began, by attending 5 workshops run by Nada Lou, in Auckland NZ in the 1990's and later 1997 in Palmerston North between 1997- 2011.

I felt inspired to train with Nada, discovering Focusing as a homecoming, bringing meaning and purpose in my personal life and my work as a Therapist. I am truly passionate in regards to all aspects of Focusing and the philosophy of the Implicit, and TAE. I attended a MINDBODY Conference in Auckland NZ in 2008 where Joan Klagsbrun was the keynote speaker. Later at Summer School in 2011 I attended Joan Klagsbrun's class on Creativity in 2011 and later Spirituality in 2016. I love creative pursuits,
