To participate in Thinking at the Edge is to directly experience Eugene Gendlin’s earth-shaking revolution in contemporary philosophy. But you don’t need to study philosophy in order to do this. You just need to experience the vast realm of development that opens up to you when you allow yourself to dwell in the felt sense of something you want to explore.

Appreciate, enjoy and revel in your unique way of being. Delve into the ideas and information that come through your body, your lived experience, the ways you connect with the world, the universe, nature, other people. Your idiosyncratic ways of thinking or perceiving might have been seen as problematic in the past. But now, old oppressive systems are breaking down, so the way you naturally are might suddenly make sense!

One or two steps of the TAE process (Steps 1 to 11) are presented in each class. You will have the opportunity to be guided through each step and will gain understanding as you observe the process in others. Classes are kept small so that there is ample time and space for felt sensing. Between classes you will continue your exploration with a partner from the class.
