Where & When
Soon after registering, an email will be sent with the Zoom link to join the webinar.
Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Eastern (NY) time
Class will be recorded for all registrants and available for viewing for one month.
Clearing Space was named and described by Eugene Gendlin in his original 6 Steps of Focusing when he successfully began to make Focusing findable by simplifying and laying out steps to the process in his book Focusing. This Highlight will give you a two hour look into Clearing Space and Making Space.
Through thousands of hours of practice explorations, Beth has come to value this step in the process, and would like to share that with you. A direct experience engagement with clearing space engages the Self to participate actively to see, feel, and sense the balance of forces the Self is currently making space for in real time. Something akin to a human experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging absent the MRI machine.
A human being can tune in to the physical and emotional body of the Self, and the relational self, orient through engaging with Self in its dynamic state of current balance. Clearing Space provides a freshly new perspective as a source for connecting with your own unique human potential.
Using didactic learning, guided experience, and demonstration, participants will be able to come into new ideas, energizing their own creativity for Clearing Space and its many therapeutic values. Whether you are new to Clearing Space or looking to seek new insights that were not present at the start, you belong here.
Within this webinar participants will have the chance to:
- Gain understanding into a human’s need for homeostasis or steady state
- Gain understanding through direct experience or observation how the Process of Clearing Space and Making Space are an active engagement with the Self and its energy potential(s), while in a co-regulated steady “enough” dynamic state of awareness and grounded presence, for the process of change to occur
- Engage in the process through direct experience or observation, both of which will create new insights
- Add resources to your toolbox
- Be a part of a Q & A discussion, take with you what will serve you, while leaving behind the rest
All are welcome to attend. Some familiarity with Focusing will be helpful but is not required.
We use Zoom videoconferencing for our online classes. In this webinar format, you will see the presenter and host, but you will not be seen. You will be able to ask questions during the webinar by typing them.
You will need to have a computer/mobile device. Calling in by phone is also possible but not preferred. All registered participants will be sent a link to the video recording approximately two weeks following the class. So if you are unable to attend the live webinar, you will still be able to view it for one month.
