An Online Class Facilitated by René Veugelers
Part of The Focusing Highlights Series
This Focusing Highlight is for parents, grandparents, and anyone working in a professional capacity with children and young people – and for yourself too.
Wouldn't it be great to transfer your inner knowledge and life experience to children? To support their unique way of being with themselves and being with their emotions? Working with and being with children of any age means experiencing and contacting the vitality in ourselves as we connect with a child's story and deeper needs.
During this Focusing Highlight, René will share how Focusing provides practical skills for how to be with oneself and with children, and how these skills support the inner process. He will also teach about working with expressions and symbolizations and share examples from a video demonstration of his work. During the class, he will offer guided exercises which you can apply to yourself or in being with children.
Note: the name of the book by Marta Stapert that René mentions toward the end of the Highlight (it was also in the registration letter)is "Focusing with Children: The Art of Communicating with Children at School and at Home."
