TIFI has recently received 25 documents of Gene’s writings which are mostly scans in the form of pdf’s. To add them to the Gendlin Online Library (GOL), we need them converted to Word documents.
What this volunteer job requires is a willingness to re-type each document entirely into Microsoft Word. You could also use Optical Character Recognition software to do the initial conversion, but we would count on you to go through it again to correct any typos. We will, of course, go over the Word document you create before we move it into GOL, but we ask that you make it as flawless as possible. Our plan is to send you one document at a time, so that multiple volunteers can be working at once to help us complete this important task as quickly as possible. The documents range in size from 4 pages to 58 pages.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play a significant role in preserving Gene Gendlin’s important legacy!
Please express your interest by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line “GOL volunteer.”
Thank you for volunteering for Gene!
