Often the personality or ego is ruling processes in spiritual groups of the various traditions. Gene Gendlin emphasised the crucial point in moving towards the unknown in myself. The Murky Edge as a technical term is that point of reference. After Gene Gendlin’s work was discovered  by the Buddhist community in North America, spiritual bypassing came again into the picture.

For instance, in the frame of the Gurdjieff Work in Armenia, Lillian Firestone (‘It‘s is always possible to sense the ground under your feet’) and Jerry Brewster (’Most of the time ego is invisible. I don’t see it; in fact, I am the ego. I define that as active personality. Ego runs the world.’) were aware of these ongoing issue. The real question remains always and everywhere the same: Where am I going, if I don’t know, who I am?

The workshop is an introduction of the core issues with an experiential part, where we will explore, how we manage our daily live matters under the tutelage of ‘The present moment an entire life, the entire life a present moment’. Summarised, we are working process- and experiential-oriented with a systemic background. A related document you might downlad here: https://haikpetrossian.com - partly freshly edited - an excerpt of my forthcoming book: “Metamorphosis“.

This gathering might as well serve to find a decision on a two year training, that will first and foremost focus on ourself as the ‘gate-less gate’. It is Person-centred and Experiential-oriented: Unconditional Positive Regard, Empathy and Authenticity - all are covering non-violence - will guide to a new understanding of the own biography and its structural and dynamical influences, continuously observable in the present moment. It will be become evident, that the conditions of change related to the foundation of the self are corresponding to those of its development.
