Honoring Milestones

In 2023, we began a tradition of having an annual online "Honoring Milestones" ceremony.  The ceremony begins by acknowledging all those certified by TIFI, as well as those who have become Coordinators, between September 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. (All these are also acknowledged monthly in our InFocus News Feed, and on our Milestones page on focusing.org). Toward the end of the Honoring Milestones ceremony, we take time to remember Coordinators who have recently passed. All members of The International Focusing Institute are warmly welcome to attend this online ceremony.

This event will be in English with translation to Portuguese.  Please note that we will not be able to offer translation to Spanish this year.

The Honoring Milestones Ceremony is connected to the Weeklong for Advanced Focusers. This is because a certification ceremony has long been a feature of the Weeklong. Last year, we created another event which we are calling "The Daylong Celebrating Certification."  The Daylong Celebrating Certification features a "taste" of the upcoming Weeklong with short experiential moments with the 3 members of the Core Team (Ceci Burgos, René Veugelers and Joseph Sing) as well as 2 Changes Group opportunities.

The Honoring Milestones Ceremony gives us the chance to honor all those who have dedicated so much of themselves to Focusing.

In 2026, in addition to honoring new Certified Focusing Professionals, and new Coordinators, we will honor the memories of:
