August 2 to September 13, 2019 at 6:30 pm US Eastern
- Do you shy away from conflict, or do you find yourself embroiled in the same conflicts over and over?
- Do you feel you “have to be compassionate” so that you can’t really express yourself with people you disagree with?
- Do you want to make sure that you understand your motivations and the motivations of others when conflict arises?
- Do you wish you had more resources to help deal with the deep divisions in society?
Join people from all over the world to experience how Empathic Communication and Focusing can make conflict resolution flexible, relevant and authentic. Each session will combine theory with practice. There will be opportunities to share your experiences and learn from the experiences of others. In each class we will explore how Nonviolent Communication theory can create an atmosphere for entry into the implicit, and how Focusing can deepen NVC.
