Find a Focusing Professional - Paschalis Vavelidis

Focused on mental health as a psychotherapist and health policy, I have worked for several years
on patients rights and access to health services at national level.
I have been involved as a field coordinator in several projects which aimed at diagnosis and
treatment for infectious diseases such as hiv, hcv, hbv .
I have also coordinated field activities involving other groups of people, such as intravenous drug
users, homeless people (street work), sex workers and others. Finally, I have worked for several
years in treatment centers as a therapist for people with addiction problems and mental health
issues in general.
Through the above experience, I have learned to manage crises, listen to people in the best way
possible and find solutions where they are usually hard to find. My years of training in psychology
have helped me develop skills that aid in effective communication.
