Year I
Psychological First Aid:
What do you do when you don't know what to do? This class addresses immediate strategies that support individuals during crises, emphasizing emotional stabilization and resilience building. (March 5-April 2, 2026). The emphasis is the practice of deep listening (a basic aspect of Focusing). The class meets 5 times: 12.5 in-class hours
Psychosocial Support (An aspect of Global Mental Health and Psychosocial Support - MHPSS)
Develop practical skills to meet the psychological and social needs of communities, while deepening community care, mental health and collective resilience. 9 Classes: 22.5 Total in class hours
Focusing in Community:
Discover how Focusing can support your own healing while helping to build resilience, connection, and community healing as a pathway to meaningful social change. 11 classes: 17.5 Total in class hours
Year 2
Community Wellness Focusing Certification Year
Practice applying Focusing skills in diverse contexts. Participants develop a Focusing Project—a real-world application of Focusing principles tailored to their community and life. This class meets every week starting on January 7, 2027 (with June-August free to work on your project).
Certification available upon successful completion all modules.
