Metamorphosis: Journey from the Known towards the Unknown
Where am I going, if I don't know, who am I? We are a continuity in change, where a process-oriented focus is guiding a handling of nearly everything: methods, theories, relationships, and contents. Gene Gendlin emphasised the core of the whole undertaking in focusing on the unknown in myself - the Murky Edge as the crucial point of reference. After Gene Gendlin’s work was discovered by the Buddhist community in North America, a well known challenge emerged: Spiritual Bypassing.
That might help to explore as well the gap between knowledge and being in life and to sense the difference between Experiencing, Mindfulness and Attention ‘The Philosophy of the Implicit’ as well as ‘Experiencing and the Creation of Meaning’ are second order approaches referrring to a change of being, while viewing critical a change of state, that probably could end up in the pool of first order approaches. Last but not least we are sharing the same experiential field in daily life like our clients and trainees: ‘A moment an entire life, the entire life one moment’.
