Professional Focusing Training - Share Focusing with the World

This training is open to anyone who wants to deepen and refine their Focusing skills beyond the basic Levels 1–5. The intention to work professionally with Focusing is not a requirement, though the training supports those who wish to share Focusing professionally with individuals and groups.
You are equally welcome if your interest is simply to enrich your Focusing Partnerships and bring more depth and clarity into your daily life.

You can join a one-year training or choose the two-year training:

• Focusing Facilitator/Practitioner Training for working with people one-on-one
• Focusing Teacher Training for teaching Focusing to groups
• Full Two-Year Training: Facilitator/Practitioner & Trainer/Teacher Training

What You Will Learn

Year 1 - Focusing Practitioner/Facilitator Training

• Offer one-to-one Focusing sessions to people new to Focusing
• Integrate Focusing into your professional work (e.g., as a therapist, bodyworker, or teacher)
• Teach Focusing to individuals
• Naturally weave aspects of Focusing into all of your daily interactions
• Deepen your Focusing Partnership skills

Year 2 - Focusing Teacher/Trainer Training

• Learn to teach Focusing to groups
• Learn to invite the Focusing Attitude into any groups you facilitate
• Develop your personal niche—what you are passionate about doing with Focusing

The Training
The training includes online classes with instructional materials, supervised practice, and personal projects based on your chosen interests. This blend of structured training and self-directed learning allows you to create a program that fits your learning style, interests, and life situation.

Training meetings are spread over one year or two years.

When you are a Certified Focusing Trainer, participants of your Focusing courses will be eligible to join the Focusing Partnership Networks of both:

• The International Focusing Institute (TIFI)
• The British Focusing Association (BFA), if you live in the UK
