This is a learning community where we can keep each other company in this lonely (and sometimes impossible) profession.  These communities, based on the work of Eugene Gendlin, have been priceless to me personally as well as in my work.  Gendlin's bodily-felt-sensing describes the natural inner process of becoming more in touch with ourselves, our patients and the world beyond.  It speaks to the beauty inherent in our capacity to make meaning.

I have spent 40 years integrating this work with current streams of psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic theory and practice.  Relationality, self psychology, as well as the current modalities profoundly influenced by Gendlin's ideas, such as Somatic Experiencing, Accelerated Experiential DevelopmentalPsychotherapy and Emotion Focused Therapy will be included in our group process.

Case discussion and readings as well as moments of Experiential Focusing will be offered in an intimate learning group that refreshes (personally and professionally) our lives as therapists. We will follow wherever our communal experiencing takes us.
