In this webinar, Lilach will explore some of the ideas in her newly published book "Respectful Parent, Thriving Child: Empowering Parent-Child Relationships with a Focusing-based Approach".

What might be emerging when we bring playfulness and love (from the field of parenting) to Focusing exercises and investigation?
Lilach will present an overview of her 'Focusing on Respectful Parenthood' approach, some references of Gendlin's philosophy that support it, practical exercises for participants, and crystalizing carrying forward steps.

Some familiarity with Focusing is helpful, but no prior experience is required. All are welcome to attend and participate.
Format
We use Zoom videoconferencing for our online classes. In this webinar format, you will see the presenter and host, but you will not be seen. You will be able to ask questions during the webinar by typing them. Highlights presenters may at times invite a small number of participants to unmute or join them onscreen during the webinar (optional).
You will need to have a computer/mobile device. Calling in by phone is also possible but not preferred. All registered participants will be sent a link to the video recording approximately two weeks following the class. So if you are unable to attend the live webinar, you will still be able to view it for one month.
Bio
Lilach Benjaminy-Coorsh is a therapist, Focusing teacher, and Systemic Constellations facilitator with 22 years of dedicated support for families and guidance for therapists. She conducts study groups and seminars for professionals and parents, contributing to the creation of a healthier society.
Residing in a rural area with her partner and five children (plus two more of the heart), Lilach holds a Master of Music degree, and her diverse journey includes seven years as a software engineer, nineteen years being a homeschooling mom, and twenty-nine years of chopping salad for family dinners.
Beyond her qualifications and experience as a doula, breastfeeding consultant, Birth-Oriented Therapy senior facilitator and instructor, Lilach is a passionate women's advocate. She believes in life – and implicitly trusts its wisdom, power, and flow.
Lilach's book "Respectful Parent, Thriving Child: Empowering Parent-Child Relationships with a Focusing-based Approach" was recently released on Amazon. It documents a real-life parenting group process, and summarizes over twenty years of activity, support, and counseling for parents and families.
Registration Details
Lilach is offering this class to support The International Focusing Institute. This live online class is pay-what-you-can. The suggested payment for US residents is $30.
If you need to give less, that's fine, but we do require each participant to give something. Please give extra if you can! Thank you for supporting the Institute.
Refunds: A full refund minus a $15 administrative fee (regardless of the registration fee paid) for cancellations 14 days before the start date. Cancellations less than 14 days before the start date are nonrefundable.
