Where & When

Join Jenna Chevalier and Annette Dubreuil for a Focusing mini-retreat in downtown Toronto. Held at Verity, a members-only womens’ club, our event is open to both men and women. Our mini-retreat will give you a taste of Eugene Gendlin's Focusing practice and provide some good energy to begin 2023.

In the first half of our mini-retreat, Jenna will guide us to explore with Focusing on what wants to emerge in our life in 2023. And then we will use visual art to record our vision, and have it further clarify as we draw and write about our experience. We will then break for lunch.

In the second half of the retreat, Annette will guide us to dig deeper into one element from the morning, allowing our felt sense to flesh out what is wanting to carry forward from felt knowing to action. We will then break out into smaller groups to share our experience and practice Focusing. Participants will hold space for each other during the sharing, with the option to receive listening reflections and some simple prompts (we will provide a brief demonstration).
