Where & When
What do you do when someone in your family or community is in emotional pain? What can help?
- Do you work in community and help others in the middle of their trauma?
- Are you a care-giver or ‘helper’?
- Do you want a way to help others and not have to constantly block the pain that comes from seeing others in distress?
Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a globally-recognized, peer based process. This is not a medical or therapy approach to trauma. And yet, it is an effective response to be used by anyone who wants to be supportive and helpful in a crisis.
Even through trauma is complex, we can do something simple that can make a huge difference. We can listen kindly and deeply, because, even in the midst of the worst trauma or disaster, this is what will be the greatest help.
In our PFA program, we explore ways to be with someone who is dealing with trauma or disaster. We don’t have to be an expert to make a difference: we can offer our humanity in a way that promotes healing and resilience.
In this webinar you will learn more about this international, online PFA course
It begins June 2, 2026 at this same time for 2.5 hours.
