Gendlin, in his book "Focusing Oriented Psycotherapy" says: '..the present interaction can impliciltly and concretely provide the actual continuation of processes that were stopped in childhood. The body has implied the next steps ever since, and will enact them if the interaction makes it possible"

We'll be looking at the philosophy behind it (Gendlin's Philosophy of the Implicit) and what is the type of interaction that can help people move forward in their lives.

Whether you are already using Focusing for yourself or in your work with other people in whatever area, this is going to enrich your own life and help you listen to others in a deeply embodied way, knowing that Wisdom and the capacity for healing is in our bodies. And, when we integrate this deep body wisdom with any other avenue we are working with, we can better help  our clients explore their own issues, move forward in their lives and develop new and fresh ways of living and interacting.
