Where & When
Would you like to explore an innovative, holistic way of authentically connecting and working with both children and adults? Join Harriët Teeuw & René Veugelers from the Netherlands for their unique 2-day intensive online training, Focusing and Grief — a deeply experiential journey into listening, presence, creativity, and emotional resilience.
This training introduces Dynamic Expressive Focusing: a gentle, powerful method that integrates Focusing skills, non-verbal communication, creative exploration, inner-child contact, and embodied awareness.
Who is it for?
This training is designed for therapists, counselors, educators, and professionals working with adults, children, or youth. It is also open to parents, caregivers, and anyone interested in supporting emotional processes in themselves and others. Most importantly—it is available for YOU.
What you will learn:
You will gain tools for listening to adults and children in a Focusing-oriented way, while working with creative expression and non-verbal cues to support authentic connection. Through structured exercises, we’ll explore:
How to accompany others in different phases of grief
How to stay present when someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or numb
Ways to explore grief through art, movement, gesture, and sound
Your own grief process and life-forward energy
A deeper understanding of the body’s inner knowing and resilience
What to expect:
Connect with an international community of participants in a warm, playful, and respectful atmosphere. This approach balances theoretical understanding with rich experiential practice, offering a safe, structured space where personal exploration is welcomed and protected.
You will leave with practical tools to bring this work into your own practice, while also supporting your own self-care and emotional wellbeing—strengthening your capacity to hold space for others without burning out.
