We live in a technological world and especially in the last few years there have been many unique forms of online connections, through all kinds of media. In our international Children and Focusing Community the ‘life’ connections are special and essential! But we know this is not always possible. Through TIFI we are able to provide possibilities to connect with each other online, such as the Roundtable, Highlights, online discussions, workshops and conferences. and maybe there are more and other ways too.

In this roundtable, Harriet Teeuw and Rene Veugelers want to explore together with you, fresh ways to connect, to share and how to deepen our Children & Focusing experience.

  • How to explore online ways to (re) connect with other CF community.
  • Would it be possible to create a space where people can share their practices and support each other

Who is this Roundtable for? Anyone who is interested to explore ways to connect with each other in the Children and Focusing community.

Format: After our attunement, we will create space, a living room, for all of our experiences, our wishes, our needs, our boundaries to be present. And through the open sharing we’ll create a space for ideas to unfold about the ways to connect with each other in the future.

Who might be particularly interested in attending this Roundtable?

Parents, grandparents, caregivers or anyone who interacts with children and would like to understand and communicate with a child and their needs. Also someone who would like to develop a stronger and more understanding connection with their own inner child.

CONNECTION>CONVERSATION>COMMUNITY

What to expect from Focusing Roundtables: Each Focusing Roundtable is designed to promote informal peer-to-peer conversation. Rather than acting as expert presenters, the Hosts will serve as conversation moderators to encourage sharing and exploration of the topics from the participants’ own perspectives.  All participants’ sharings are welcome and valuable, no matter what level of experience or knowledge you have on the topic. To preserve the nature of informal conversation, the program will be offered live only and no recordings will be available. Registration is limited and on a first-come, first served basis. Participants are encouraged to create follow up opportunities for connection among themselves after the Roundtable.

The TIFI Membership Committee is pleased to offer this series of Focusing Roundtables designed especially for members of the Institute. If you are not a member, please join at http://www.focusing.org/membership, then return to this page to register. This program will afford members a valuable opportunity to engage in casual peer-to-peer conversation with other members who share Focusing-related interests.
