I learned Focusing in 1997 and it has enhanced my personal and professional life as a communications consultant in many ways, particularly through the capacity to listen deeply to what is being said at different levels and reflect that in a respectful, gentle way. I am interested in Gendlin’s Philosophy of the Implicit. Reading and study this has enriched my own approach to teaching and in continuing to learn Focusing. I am interested in using Focusing as an everyday skill, in combining Focusing with Mindfulness and in using Focusing as a way to think.
