A graduate of Fr. Richard Rohr’s Living School, Anne is a long-term practitioner of contemplative spirituality and a certified spiritual director. Spiritual direction is a conscious pause in the flow of life to reflect on the sacred depths of your experiences, with the support of a compassionate and discerning listener. It is an opportunity to explore your spirituality and to honor your inner wisdom. Through her private practice, The Soul Companion, LLC, Anne has cultivated a sacred space for spiritual transformation that highlights intuitive exploration, creative expression, wise discernment, and conscious embodiment. A certified focusing professional, she is also credientialed to offer Jungian-oriented dreamwork, SoulCollage®, the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, and guided labyrinth walks. Anne supports both individuals and groups on their creative pathways to deepening spirituality. Currently, she is a doctoral student in Christian spirituality at Virginia Theological Seminary, an Episcopal seminary. Her research focuses on creative practices that enhance holistic spirituality, including imaginative prayer, artistic expression, and reverential experiences with nature. In addition, she has a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing and has worked as a writing professor and a coach. In her workshops and retreats, Anne offers reflective writing activities that help participants to experience a felt sense of spirituality, to discover their deepest intuitions, to express their inner wisdom, and to explore possible responses to growth opportunities.
