Where & When
Focusing has a long and well-established home in psychotherapy and personal development. Its application in professional coaching is newer territory, and remarkably fertile.
This training is for practitioners who already understand Focusing from the inside and want to learn how to work with its core elements in a coaching context: how to guide clients into meaningful contact with the felt sense, how to support that process without leading or interpreting, and how to hold the distinction between coaching and therapy with integrity.
The result is coaching that moves past surface-level narrative into something more alive, where insight arises from the client's own embodied knowing rather than from analysis or technique.
What the training covers:
Facilitating clients into contact with the felt sense within a coaching frame; the subtle art of accompanying without directing; integrating Focusing into ICF-aligned conversations without losing the essence of either; deepening presence and embodied listening as a coaching competency.
