The course teaches the Focusing attitude; how to be an observer to your inner life; how to make the Six Steps of Focusing work for you; and how to be an effective companion to others who Focus.
Structure

There are eight, two-hour classes (Thursdays, 7-9pm). The evenings include large group and partner formations for experiential learning; teaching and modeling; and Q&A.

Be prepared to spend 1-3 hours per week outside of class for practicing online with peers from your cohort.

There'll be brief reading assignments. Students will be encouraged to purchase the small book, "The Power of Focusing" by Ann Weiser Cornell.

Finally, students gain access to local and global Peer Partnership networks.

Daphne Bye, BMus, DipEd, CFP, SEP, has been teaching Focusing workshops and courses in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts for over ten years and is now offering trainings online, as well. Daphne is a Somatic Therapist, pianist and teacher.

The sliding scale fee for the full course is $240 - $480. A non-refundable deposit of $50, payable upon registration, will reserve a place for you in the training. The remaining fee is paid by March 15, 2021. Paypal and Venmo links will be provided when you email Daphne.
